This small cane chair came to us in a poor state - so we decided to do something quite different with it. We sprayed the frame and cane work in metallic pink and then gave it two coats of clear sealer to prevent chipping. We then applied matching Moons fabric to create a striking piece.

Master bedroom setting for a fully restored armchair in a mid grey large check fabric
This beautiful armchair was destined for the bonfire until we rescued it.
The grey check fabric works fantastically well with the silver grey curtains, wallpaper and carpet. The corner position takes full advantage of the large windows on two elevations in this master bedroom. The bay window faces south and floods light onto the armchair.
Another project where many hours of hard work have produced a piece of furniture that will last many more years.
Large Settle fully restored
This settle had been the bed for the GP's dog when patients were not using it. A full strip down and re-upholster was required. We think the end result was worth all the effort and it now takes pride of place in our hallway.
The traditional techniques used in the original construction have been carried on during the whole rebuild with webbing, coiled springs and animal hair stuffing used in large quantities.
Beautiful footstool with brass castors on turned legs
This old footstool was taken back to its basic structure before being completely recovered with new foam inner and shallow buttoning on the top. The pattern of the material and the beautiful castors on the short legs work really well together and this piece will look amazing in any room.
